The Department of Fashion design at Sungkyunkwan University, which aims to foster fashion professionals needed by the global fashion industry in the 21st century, focuses on running a balanced curriculum of theory and practice to foster fashion leaders who can actively cope with creativity and diverse environments. To this end, the Department of Costume is flexibly operated to create integrated synergy between curriculums (Fashion design, Fashion Marketing‧Psychology of Fashion, Apparel Product Development, Fashion Aesthetics and Culture, Historic Costumes) in the department. Based on this, graduates of Sungkyunkwan University's Department of Fashion design have been selected as the most reputable school in the domestic fashion industry and are actively working as competitive talents required by the global fashion industry.
